Playing and learning shakuhachi is my passion since 2021 when I met Shawn Tairyu Head online. I love many aspects of Japanese culture and hope to be able to make a small contribution in keeping its musical legacy alive. I have a keen interest also in the shakuhachi instrument: what makes a good shakuhachi? How to best play this beautiful instrument and bring the best out of it, and in ourselves?
